Step 1: Write the Vision, Make it Plain- Habbukuk 2:2
- I want to be a Woman of God who spreads the gospel through Creative Direction, Entrepreneurship, Fashion/ Design, Beauty, Content Creation, Fitness, and Mental Health Advocacy. But first, I must change my hobbies, habits and routines to reflect that. I turn 25 in 3 months and don’t want to enter this new era living the same lifestyle. I want to go from a fruitless life, to a fruitful life.
Step 2: Goals for the Vision
- Routines:
- Prayer/ Bible study: spend time daily devoting myself to scriptures, growing in faith and wisdom, and understand the fundamentals of faith and biblical theology
- consistent morning/night routine: 5:30 am, am bible study
- fitness routine: work out 5x per week; (weight gain journey) gain 15 lbs
- hair routine: weekly/ bi-weekly routines for high porosity hair; trying natural hair styles; glueless wigs
- makeup: learn a consistent soft glam routines
- Habits:
- wake up at 5:30am daily
- end procrastination/ laziness/ disobedience
- commit to stepping out of my comfort zone
- Hobbies:
- Sewing: 2 projects per month
- Nails: 1 press on set per week
- reading: 1 though provoking book per month
- content creation: develop a routine/ style for my content; post at least 3x weekly
- allow space to try to new hobbies
Step 3: Pray. Plan. Prepare. Execute
- Pray: connect to the source and stay close to the cross
- Proverbs 3:5-6 & Matthew 6:33
- Pray for Wisdom, Patience, Discipline and Guidance in building routines, habits and hobbies that sow into the life you want to see
- Repent: Turn away from any disobedience of your past ways
- Plan: write it out
- Proverbs 21:5 & Proverbs 16:9
- write out daily/ weekly routine, and plans to follow.
- ex: workout routine, meal prep routine, hair routine
- Prepare:
- set up your environment to support each goal. And make a list of everything you need to do before you start the routine
- ex: pack workout bag/meal prep the night before
- ex: write hair routine for high porosity hair and buy necessary products
- Execute
- Hebrews 12:11
- Stay disciplined. Stick to the plan.
- Document progress, celebrate consistency, and reset/ readjust when needed
